Rowan’s 8th Rockstar Birthday Party was a glittering, glamorous afternoon. I am a horrible photographer when it comes to capturing “still life” and these pictures do not do it justice. I really need a better camera and some classes! Thank goodness I captured the working spotlights on the cake!
Truly one of my favorite parties to date, it was so much fun putting this together. I tried many new techniques which led to some super yummy treats and a fantastic table setup. The girls ate and took home every last treat, although a good number of parents enjoyed pieces of the Pop Rock chocolate bark, which was super yummy – pop pop crackle! And yes, those edible microphones tasted just as good as they looked. If it doesn’t taste good I won’t use it!
I can’t say how pleased I was to hear the gasps of “Oh my god!” and “It’s so beautiful” from the little girls who joined the celebration, but my daughter’s seal of approval was all I needed. “Mommy this is amazing, wow! Thank you!”
Thank you my baby girl for letting your mama go to town on your party, it was worth every second to see the look of wonder on your face and the excitement in your voice. Happy 8th Birthday my love!
