New To Shop | Honey Bee

May

What a day, what a day! I’ve been busy as a bee and sweet as honey to the neighbouring roofers who have taken over my driveway. The pounding and nail guns have been a bit distracting, but I have finally got my new collection in the shop! Oh yes, another new collection this week, I have been busy as a bee you see!

Pun totally intended. Buzz. buzz.

I am happy to have my new Honey Bee DIY Printable Party Collection in my Etsy shop!

This is another design I have been wanting to do for a while. Who doesn’t love a cute litte bee and honeycomb? I love me a cute bee and I really wanted to create a collection that was sweet and delicate.

Something that could work for a child’s party or a shower. Hosting a “WHAT WILL IT BEE?”  gender reveal party? Or maybe a “IT WAS MEANT TO BEE!” bridal shower? A little gathering for beekeeper’s perchance?

And I really just needed an excuse to eat an entire package of honeycomb candy. Yes, yes I ate all of it.

The Honey Bee DIY Printable Party Collection comes with all your favorites. The Honey Bee Invitations are sold separately and completely customizable to match your bee theme.

Buzz on over to my shop to check out the new Honey Bee Collection!

Seriously loving these favor tags so much I want to host a bee themed party.  Are you throwing a bee themed party this spring?

New To Shop | Cherrylicious

Ready for a little retro goodness? A little retro, cherrylicious goodness? Becuase today I added my new Cherrylicious DIY Printable party to my Etsy shop and it is totally cherrylicious!

I have wanted to create a girlie retro cherry theme for the longest time ever! I have always loved the polka dot and cherry combo, so very girlie, so very 1950s retro, so very rock-a-billy, baking housewife, little girl twirling in a circle skirt that spins above the waistline. Oh yeah! With a bit of feminine scalloped edging and ribbon trim. yes, I think this is it!

This collection makes me want to don my favorite party dress with a pair of peep toe shoes and twirl around serving Shirley Temple’s with a side of cherries jubilee! I think little girls and big girls alike will love a little cherrylicious party. Oh the ways you can spin this collection whether your birthday girl is turning 3 or 30. Cupcakes or cocktails, you choose!

Do you love this collection as much as I do? So girlie, so fun, so makes me want to sit in the grass with a basket of cherries and teach my girls how to knot a cherry stem with your tongue. If only I knew how.

The Cherrylicious DIY Printable Party Collection comes with everything you need to create your own retro girlie party, including party circles, bottle wrappers, banner, tent cards, party flags, favor tags and scrapbooking papers for a little crafting and cupcake wrapping.

You can grab the entire Cherrylicious Collection in my Etsy shop!

Need some invites to go with that party collection? Invitations are available separately.

I think I just might have to watch CryBaby while I bake a cake. Now where are those peep toes?

New To Shop | Easter in Stitches

Any cross stitch lovers out there? I have been a lover of cross stitch ever since grade 4 when I convinced my aunt to take me for a weekend and teach me the home art of cross stitch. i still remember my first cross stitch: a little heart sampler with the words “I love Mom”. I’ve been a regular stitcher ever since.

So for this Easter, with the art of cross stitch on my mind and the desire to create a simple, homemade celebration, I brought my love of cross stitch to my love of parties and created this sweet little Easter Cross Stitch Collection.

Only three items, available separately in my Etsy shop. Keeping the holiday simple and homemade.

The Easter Cross Stitch Tent Cards create a lovely place setting, but they would make sweet favor tags/thank you cards when attached to Easter treats! Don’t you think?

The Easter Cross Stitch Party Circles for decorating cupcakes and bars, or perfect favor tags when attached to little bundles of sweets for the kidlets that may be celebrating with you this weekend.

And the Easter Cross Stitch Bottle Wrappers for decorating your bottled beverages, also perfect for bundling up your napkins and cutlery.

Sweet with touches of homemade, just how this mama likes it!

How are you decorating for Easter this year?

Freebies | Retired + St. Patrick’s Day

I have been working on some re-organizing and designing some new collections. I have so many new designs in the works right now, initial designs complete and they are just waiting to be pieced together. Waiting, waiting for me to finish the contract work I’ve been doing, and then waiting again until after March Break since my family and I will be heading to Florida for the week. Oh I cannot say how very much I am looking forward to sun and sand and the blissful tropical heat of South Florida! Cannot wait!

But today, I wanted to let you know that I have retired some of my old freebies over on Scrib’d. Mostly older designs that have enjoyed their time and were ready to say goodbye. Goodbye to the old and hello to some newer, updated designs to come. So if you head over there, you will notice fewer offerings for the time being.

If you haven’t visited the freebies in a while, you may want to head on over and grab the St. Patty’s Day Party Circles! They are ready and waiting for your St.Patrick’s Day celebrations!

I don’t know what we’ll be doing for St. Patty’s Day, maybe swimming and green smoothies. What are your plans for St. Patrick’s Day? Green beer and an Irish jig?

New To Shop | Elephantshoe Collection

When I was a little girl, my friends and I would play a little guessing game. We would sit face to face and one of us would first silently mouth the words “I love you” and ask the other to guess what we said. The one who was guessing would answer, “You said I love you.” Then we would do it again, but this time we would mouth the words “elephant shoe”. The one who was guessing would again say, “You said I love you again.” And we would answer, “No, that time I said elephant shoe.” And then we would go back and forth randomly trying to figure out when we were saying “I love you”  and when we were saying “elephant shoe”.

I have played this game with both of my daughter’s and now when I say “Elephant shoe!”, they know I mean “I love you.” Have you ever played this game? Hopefully my new Elephantshoe Valentine Collection printable will encourage you to play this sweet little game with your kidlets!

The Elephantshoe Collection has everything you need to throw a sweet little Valentine’s Day party at home or in the class room! There is an ’I love you’ banner. Large and small valentines to give to family and friends.

Party circles for decorating cupcakes, lollipops, treat bags and more!

Treat bag toppers for bundling up a selection of treats and sweets!

Bottle wrappers for wrapping around bottles of water or soda pop or utensils wrapped in a napkin.

Tent cards for labeling Valentine’s treats or for place cards on the table.

A sweet collection for a sweet game. Want to play?

You can get the Elephantshoe Valentine Collection in my Etsy Shop! Just in time to share the sentiment of elephantshoe with your family and friends.

I am getting super excited about Halloween this year! Gathering costume ideas for my girls, preliminary planning for creepy food week (which I really must focus on as it’s only a week and a half away – eeek!) and planning new Halloween decor to add to our classic favorites. In the midst of all this brainstorming, an idea hit for me a new Halloween printable that is a little less girlie (have I told you today how much I love my girlie ghost?) and a little more creepy, you know, for the boys. It is fang-tastically cute and it’s hitting my Etsy shop today!

This one is all about the vampires and bats!

It all starts with an invitation to a fang-tastic Halloween party!

Hey, come on over for a bite!

A party full of bite sized sweets…

creepy treats…

and once bitten cupcakes.

I vant to suck your blood!

And of course there are party staples like bottle wrappers and party circles for decorating cupcakes…

and favors full of creepy toys and candy!

I wanted something creepier and detail oriented to decorate the table and windows, so instead of a traditional banner I opted for a bunting of bats and a couple of bat mobiles!  Ha ha ha.

This collection includes bats in small, medium and large so you can be batty and make your own bat mobile and bunting.

The Fang-tastic DIY Printable Party Collection is now in my Etsy shop!

I cannot wait for the weekend! Going to see Bryan Ferry this Saturday, seriously jumping up and down I’m so excited!!! AND it’s Thanksgiving weekend in Canada which means turkey and homemade pumpkin pie. Lucky us, we get to enjoy two Thanksgiving dinners; one with my husband’s family and then one at home on Monday. So eager to cook that bird!

What I’m also excited about today is my new printable party for Thanksgiving is ready today (woot!) and I’m giving a few sets away to some fabulous ladies! Late last week I put out a call to all my readers and friends (all of you!) on Facebook asking, what are your favorite Thanksgiving dishes? I found that sweet potato pie/casserole, as long as it had marshmallows was the winner above all when it came to Thanksgiving faves. But you told me all about your favorite dishes and had some wonderful stories to share about them as well, so thank you. Thank you for sharing your stories and your favorite dishes, it introduced me to some new yummy dishes to try, but most of all it just warms my cockles that you are here, conversing and sharing with me. Thank you.

So, I was asking for your favorite dishes so I could pre-fill the food labels in my new Thanksgiving collection with your favorite foods, so all you ahve to do is literally, print, cut and decorate! Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy. And part of my deal was if you share, and I pick your item to be one of the 12 (which actually ended up being 16), you would receive the Giving Thanks printable with my gratitude for participating and helping me create this collection!

I ended up pre-filling 16 food labels, really I just couldn’t stop. I hope we’ve got you covered with your favorites! They are:

Buttery Whipped Mashed Potatoes
Perfect Pumpkin Pie
Mouthwatering Roasted Turkey
Sweet Potato Casserole w/Marshmallows
Maple Glazed Carrots
Homemade Cranberry Jelly
Brown Sugar Glazed Ham
Maple Sugar Turnip Mash
Tasty Green Bean Casserole
Savoury Herb Stuffing
Carmelized Candied Yams
Mama’s Brown Sugar Apple Pie
Roasted Root Vegetables
Sweet Potato Pie
Super Sweet Corn Off The Cob
Fresh Pressed Apple Cider

Does that cover everything? Heck, I’ll even throw in a sheet of blank tent cards just in case you need them!

So I’m very happy to announce that Kristine, Emma, Nicole, Shannon and Melissa, you all get a complimentary copy of the Giving Thanks DIY Printable Party for your Thanksgiving this year! Please contact me at tracey (@) welovecraftytracey (dot) com, to let me know which email addy you would like me to send it to.

If you didn’t get a chance to tell me your favorite Thanksigiving dish, well by all means, tell me in the comments below! I’d still love to hear about it. And if you’d like your own copy, I can hook you up there too.

The Giving Thanks printable is now available in my Etsy shop.

Are you hosting a Halloween party  this year? Get excited because I have just launched my latest DIY Printable Party collection for Halloween!

I have been so eager to share this classic black, orange and white collection with you! If you want to host a Halloween party in traditional colours with a whole lot of sweetness, this may be the collection for you. A little spooky with a frightful BOO, but mostly full of sweetness with plenty of candy corn and a cutie patootie ghost wearing a bow on her head and I am totally in love with her!

The Happy Halloween collection has everything you need to craft a sweet and spooktacular party! Invitations with a DIY crafty flair, 3 sheets of party circles, 2 sheets of bottle wrappers, tent cards, favor tags, 3 party signs, ghost cut outs, mini chocolate bar wrappers, a Happy Halloween banner, and 10 sheets of coordinating decorative papers so you can create your favorite paper decorations in coordinating patterns. I used the paper to cover the tops of some loot bags, line platters and decorate lollipop stands.

We all know I love gumballs! So I had to make a giant candy corn out of gumballs and an icing bag. I just couldn’t resist.

And because I love a simple party DIY, you can decorate your invitations with a party circle of your choice! Simply, print and punch out your favorite party circles and attach at the top of your invite (guide circle provided on the invites). Candy corn and jack-o-lanterns for the boys and cutie patootie girlie ghost for the girls!

Seriously, I love her!

The Happy Halloween Collection is now available in my Etsy shop!

And because I’m so excited to finally be able to share this with you, I am launching the collection with a 50% OFF sale!

Get the collection for $10.00 until Oct 5, 2011!
